Unable to connect message when accessing channels, what should I do?

If you are encountering an error, like "We are unable to connect...", first check your network connection.

From the Roku home screen:

  • Go to Settings > Network >Wireless (Wi-Fi) and see if the status is "Connected".
  • If necessary, select Wireless (Wi-Fi) or Wired (Ethernet) and try to reconnect to your home network.
  • Try the channel again.

Occasionally, streaming services go down. Try another Roku channel to see if you can stream a video.
