When you launch the Roku® Smart Home mobile app for iOS® and Android™, you may see a prompt telling you that a software update is available for one or more of your Roku Smart Home devices. Some updates are required while others you can skip. We recommend applying all updates to achieve optimal, bug-free performance with the latest features.
You can also use the smart Home app to manually check for a software update on a specific smart home camera, video doorbell, plug, bulb, or light strip, or you can check all your smart home devices at once.
