When you want your own personal sunrise or sunset, schedule a custom sleep routine that slowly brightens your Roku® Smart Home lights in the morning and gradually dims them at night. This article provides more details about the feature and teaches you how to use sleep routines.
What is a sleep routine?
A sleep routine automatically brightens or darkens your lights incrementally based on your preferences. Select a wake up or bedtime routine, and choose the duration, starting time, and the days you want it to repeat.
- Wake up: Simulates a sunrise to help you wake up easier.
- Bedtime: Mimics a sunset to get you to sleep faster.
Which smart home devices support sleep routines?
Sleep routines are supported on all Roku Smart Home lights. You can create a custom routine for each of your smart lights individually or add them to a group to brighten and dim all the lights in the room at once. A lighting group can consist of any number of the lights listed below.
For more help, learn how you can set up a lighting device group. Be aware that if you decide to delete a lighting group, any sleep routines you created will also be deleted, and you will need to recreate them on the individual lights.
