The Roku® mobile app is a free application for iOS® and Android™ devices that turns your mobile device into a control center for your Roku streaming device. You can also use the Roku mobile app to manage the apps on your Roku streaming device: Access the Store to add apps and remove apps.
If needed, install the Roku mobile app.
Where to start
- Open the Roku mobile app on your mobile device
- If you have not already done so, connect your Roku device to the mobile app
- Select Devices
from the navigation bar
- Select your Roku device
- Select Devices
- Once your Roku device is connected, select Apps on Roku
- Select Your Roku Apps from the top menu to view a list of apps installed on your Roku device or select Store to explore more apps
What you can do in Your Roku Apps
- Selecting the app launches it. Once the app has launched you can use the Roku mobile app as your remote control.
Tip: When using the remote, you can select Apps on Roku at any time to see a list of apps you recently opened, and easily launch a different app.
- Selecting and holding an app button opens more information about that app.
What you can do in the Store
From the Store you can explore various categories and genres of available apps. You can add new apps to your Roku device, or remove apps that you no longer want to be installed.
