If you know or believe your Roku device has been lost or stolen, please contact your local law enforcement agency to report it stolen or lost.  Although Roku does not have a process to track or flag lost or stolen devices, you may be able to take either of the following actions depending on whether you can access your Roku account:

1. If you are able to access your Roku account, we recommend you change your password by visiting owner.roku.com using your browser. In addition:

  • If you have a payment method on file you should remove the payment details off your Roku account by clicking UPDATE in the payment method area and removing such details.
  • If you have a payment method on file and are concerned about unauthorized purchases via your Roku device, you should also contact your financial institution to put a ‘STOP’ on the credit card.
  • If you have channel subscriptions (for example, Netflix) we advise you to contact that channel provider to have any password associated with that subscription reset.

2. If you are unable to access your Roku account, contact Roku Customer Support at       888-600-7658 (ROKU).

  • Again, if you have a payment method on file and are concerned about unauthorized purchases via your Roku device, you should contact your financial institution to put a ‘STOP’ on the card; and
  • If you have channel subscriptions (for example, Netflix) we advise you to contact that channel provider to have any password associated with that subscription reset.
