Hulu Plus has an interface that is different from other Roku channel applications. Below are some tips for using the channel:

 Search for a TV show or movie: 

• Select “search” from the Hulu Plus main screen.
• Use on-screen keyboard to type in name of TV series.
• Navigate desired search result and select (press “SELECT/OK” on your remote).
• Navigate to an episode or clip you wish to watch.

To begin playing a TV show or movie:

• Select the video thumbnail from the episode list, OR
• Press down on your remote from the episode list to go to the episode description screen and select “Watch Now.”

 To skip forward or skip back in a TV show or movie:

• While the TV show is playing, press the left or right button to enter seek mode.
• Press Right or Skip Forward to skip forward in 15-second increments.
• Press Left or Skip Back to skip back in 15-second increments.
• Hold down the Right or Skip Forward buttons to skip forward quickly.
• Hold down the Left or Skip Back buttons to skip backwards quickly.
• Press SELECT/OK when you see the frame at which you want to resume playback.

 To stop playing a TV show or movie:

• Press down or up to bring up the video progress bar. “Stop” will already be highlighted. Select press SELECT/OK on your remote control, OR
• Press Back on your remote control (12-button Instant Replay remote only).

 To add a TV show or movie to your Hulu Plus queue:

• Navigate to an episode you wish to watch.
• Press down on your remote from the episode list to go to the episode description screen.
• Select “Add to queue.”

 To exit the Hulu Plus channel:

• Press the Home button on your remote control from anywhere within the Hulu Plus interface.
