All current models of the Roku player are HD-ready. HD-ready Roku players have everything you need to connect to your HDTV and can play back all HD titles from Roku partners, including Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.
The Roku 2 XD and Roku 2 XS models are capable of playing 1080p video (24 and 30 fps) on a 1080p capable HDTV.
